Punch Club: Рой

Рой — игровой персонаж, наш друг и собутыльник. Всегда рад пойти в бар, напиться, подраться и подстраховать на тренировках, разве что ему нужно помочь с машиной и бывает просто лень.

Его полезность заключается в том, что дополнительный бой дает нам несколько очков умений. Рой также может нас подстраховать во время тренировок, что выливается в лучший эффект прокачки характеристик. Эффект, к сожалению, не слишком длительный и очков умений не слишком много, однако это все же подспорье, решать пользоваться или нет зависит только от вас.

Рой будет помогать вам, если вы ему поможете с машиной и просто проведете с ним время. Как будет достаточно, он скажет какую-либо реплику. В случае с его сестрой, у нее над головой пролетят сердечки.

You guys are misunderstanding how the engine repair works. The «repair engine» and «chill with Roy» options are pre-requisites to allow him to Train/Spar with you. When you approach him to Train/Spar he will tell you that his engine needs fixing or that you need to find balance in your life.

That’s him telling you which time-waster you need to do. If he tells you to fix the engine do so until he makes a comment about how great it is that you’re helping him. Once he says that you’re done.

If he says you need balance in your life then you need to «Chill with Roy». Do that until he makes a comment about the beer. Once he does that you’re done.

Interact with Roy again and he should be free to spar or train with you now. Sometimes you have to do both tasks, or just one, to be able to Spar/Train with him.

Also you can’t Spar AND Train back-to-back. After doing one of them it will reset his «needs» and he’ll ask you to chill with him or repair his car again.

tl;dr Sparring/Training with Roy requires you to complete one or both pre-req actions (repair or chill). Pre-req actions are «complete» when he makes a comment about them while you are doing them.
